Rainman

Rainman

A Poem by Lady Lazarus.
"

I don't experiance even a first love normally!xD

"

A fairy came to me and told me to come away

if they saw me now I wonder what they'd say

I want to convey expressions with only you in mind

You're leading me through the streets to which I was once blind

Its awkward to know your life was leading to this

when everyday before nothing beautiful did your life consist

a broken tea mug cuped with dandelion heart

we can pull it out by the weed and watch it tease apart

I've been ignorant to the fact I'm still alive

I had lost hope but now I know I can survive

when we wake up in the morning we might find we'd rather stay in bed

watch dust in the light spell what will be sayed.

I walk by the window and wonder where you've been.

I tend to look out but today I look in.

I'm a rainman getting drenched without any protection

Look into the puddles and see your reflection

we huddle together in the haul of of each others chest

Its comfortable there.

hey
I really like the last stanza. Its so raw, and so perfect. Just wondering if there's any significance to the fairy aspect int he first stanza. But this is a beautiful piece.

Very lovely write...some spelling errors: third stanza last word..said an A fairy as opposed to An fairy...
Just picky stuff..But the poem is beautiful...lovely flow to it and beautiful images.
