Soft communications.

Soft communications.

A Poem by Lady Lazarus.

you left it unanswered and never did ask
questioning what you can never handle
how will we ever remember if we can't last
soft communication from breath to each lover...
a gentle grasp under a cover
chat up lines that seem to succeed
feeling impure and fall into me.
fall into me
and never fall out
fall into me fall into me
desperate encounters of passing strangers who fight
we go on our own ways separate and pass without looking
but we can't be oblivious to what isn't here tonight..

fall into me fall into me
a shallow puddle that drenches your skin
a person who is really nothing.
I only have myself to fail

I've fallen In.

"but we can't be oblivious to what isn't here tonight"

This is phenomenal line that shows depth beyond your years
I wish you better luck at love

I love the metaphor you've used "shallow puddle that drenches your skin" it's dead clever.
It's a brilliant poem; very well written, nice one.

"Fall into me" is a brilliant line to repeat. nice and abstract. "Questionaing what you never can handle" i love the futility in this. i love how you make trivial things like "a gentle grasp under the cover" seem so crucial.

I agree with Mike, this is wonderful.
All of these lines left my head imploding.
"fall into me
and never fall out
fall into me fall into me
desperate encounters of passing strangers who fight
we go on our own ways separate and pass without looking
but we can't be oblivious to what isn't here tonight..

fall into me fall into me
a shallow puddle that drenches your skin
a person who is really nothing.
I only have myself to fail"

Wonderful as always!

Yes Jess, yes! Muy excelente. "Fall into me" "a shallow puddle that drenches your skin".
Jeez Jess, have you been taking courses on awesomeness? Seriously.
