third time lucky?

third time lucky?

A Poem by Lady Lazarus.
"

late night and wrote in haste.third try. please work..

"

welcomed into a room I've tried to leave for so

long

how has your week been?

question

question

with a

dirty

answer that won't matter once I'm gone

I've lost the will to try any more

as I'll only disappoint

You smile with an earnest smile to hide

your feelings too

will this one get better or will I lose another one?

pills are mixed by chemists not magicians...

even they are illusionists.

You say that you're sad and normality is scarce

not manic depressive but close as a hair

you're slowly losing any touch with others

where are your friends?

we'll try this anti depressive that will leave you infertile

it will cure all these problems easily ,simple pimple!

but doctor....

my breasts are gone and my back is slouched

I have no need to stand up straight

I am a woman no longer

 don't think I ever was

not strong enough to be a man

I'll have to cope with what I am

third hope to cure my mind

when will I learn that its their choice not mine?

whats up doc?

This is an incredibly moving piece of writing and the words:

' but doctor....

my breasts are gone and my back is slouched

I have no need to stand up straight

I am a woman no longer

don't think I ever was //

not strong enough to be a man

I'll have to cope with what I am '

are heartbreaking, absolutely heartbreaking.

You've publicly expressed feelings that maybe not everyone would or can understand, and, very clearly.

For that, I thank you for sharing

Wow this really is a bold piece and it certainly reflect on what i believe... doctors are so quick to want to prescribe drugs for everything, probably from the kick back they get for doing it as medicine has become more of a business like everything else in the world. Not to say there are not some good uses... but you have the doctors diagnosing kids with ADD all the time now wanting to put them on Ridilin... let's not forget they are kids... enough venting there, need less to say I love this piece and what it has to say.
