Come

Come

A Poem by Jessie
"

Questions I ask God everyday...

"

Sitting and waiting..

For You.

Sighing and smiling..

For You.

Closing my eyes and whispering

"Come.."

Praying to the heavens...

"Come!"

The wind blew harder..

Smiling bigger...

Opening my eyes,

Seeing a bright light..

"God?"

The light went away...

Sighing, I got up...

 I whispered once more,

"Come.."

I understand! The narrator is waiting for God. She is asking God to come. And when a light flashes on his or her face she thought it was God, really it must be the sun or something that drove by. He or she must be sad cause of the mishap. Very interesting.
