Gentle are the whispers

of a child to my ear

Gentle are the words

you speak, softly and so

dear.

Gentle are the ways you

comfort when you pull me

near.

Gentle are the emotions

as they began to stir.

 

Gentle are the ways of

poetry, so thoughtful and

sincere.

Gentle are the ways of

you, the only words I hear.

This was beautiful. I love the word gentle so much...
