White Furry FriendA Poem by JessieA wonderland affect... A sad kept little face, with no one around to play
How bored she was and so early in the day
She looked out over the wide open space
and spotted a white rabbit running at a pace
Her eyes grew big as she seen his big ears
She got up off the porch and wiped away her tears
She darted out after the rabbit so white, and
she ran it seemed for miles until its ears
where out of sight, she lost him for sure or so she
thought, until the long-eared rabbit came out
hopping at a trought
Revived once again she followed on behind him
until she fell into a hole and daylight turned to dim
She slid down a tunnel and into an underground
She couldn't believe its beauty which
around her it did surround.
She stood lost in a gaze, until she spotted the
rabbit running crazy in a maze
Under the waterfall, still on the run, she hurried
on after him she was having so much fun
She came to a staircase that led up a hill
to a small door that read "Enter, if you will" She
opened the door to find the white rabbit having
a cup of tea, Then he said "You made it!
Right on time, will you have a cup with me"?
They sat and laughed for hours on end
She was so happy she found her furry friend
She realized it would be dark soon
So homeward bound it was with
the rabbit leading the way
She heard her mothers voice as she awoke
on the porch where she lay
Hoping that tomarrow will be as much fun,
like it was today and that she would run
into her white furry friend,
again along the way..
The End.
