![]() KissA Poem by Jessica JeanWAR
begins with one shot AND LOVE
by just one kiss TWO
things of beauty begin AND ONE
ruins the mist
FOR LOVE
it breaks the fog HIDING
o’er the hills IT TAKES
away the silence IT FREES
away our chills OH, how
I long for mist again THAT
QUIET, opaque veil IT IS
there I see more clearly THAN I
can with love’s avail
OH LOVE,
one way I will say I HAVE
known you all the years BUT IN
another way I say that you ARE SUCH
my deepest fear
A FEAR
TO LOSE what I love most THE
SILENCE on my lips THAT CAN
ONLY be displayed BY PEN
