Count KissesA Poem by Jessica JeanJust a random selection for my first poem :)
I remember when I would count kisses
When lips touched for seconds few When every kiss was a little frightening And entirely too new Each peck was but an instant And I counted every one 'Til pecks grew into love And the counting was undone Strange lips became my comfort Soft, pillowy, and pink Kisses now from you my love I love I know, not think Now never do I count kisses Only to a hundred down your chest Now never do I count kisses Cause my lips love kisses best © 2013 Jessica Jean |
