Again

A poem about wanting to give up on the one you truly love.

Is it possible?

To fall in love

twice

in one life?

 

For they say

that love is an emotion

felt by you

for your one and only

 

But what if that

'one and only'

does not look to you

as thier 'one and only'?

 

Are you doomed

to feel alone

and hang on to their memory

forever?

 

I think I might

be going insane

because of the pain

from my love for him...

 

They said to me

when I was young

that I must love all

so why must I

now love one?

 

And yet now

to my own hypocrity

I dare ask

myself this

 

Is it a sin

to fall in love with him

all over

again?

I have indeed felt this way, not to your exact sentiments, but close enough.

To the first block, I think you fall into love to a certain extent with everyone you meet. But you only associate it with the one you have relations with as being "in love"

I can be "in love" with my friends, because I trust them and all that entails with that.
And in the end we all die alone, literally, so really, that's a given. (doomed to feel alone)

Well i have kind of
what i've learned is to not give up on
someone especially if your in love with that
person. Why give up on something you
know can be fixed? Thats why its important
to communicate with that other person to see
where everything stands.
