Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by JessicaPaigeB
"

Just something I'm dealing with right now. I wrote this in hopes that you can relate.

"

It’s a patience I’m sure I’ll never gain.

A torture device

They say cherish each moment;

That’s a difficult task

Even worse when I know whats ahead of me.

Do I want it to just happen now?

No.

That would be selfish.

I will wait with you

as patiently as I can.

And I know the day is coming,

They’ve already picked your date.

And I’ve already picked your memorial.

A tattoo

It will be painful, in more ways than one.

But there is one benifit..

You’ll stay with me forever.

It will read,

Rest In Peace.

So simple and sad it took my breath away. I don't have the courage to write about loss. Thank you for being brave and sharing this.
