Jimmy

this is for my uncle who passed away in the year 1999.

I saw the flames upon the hill,

And terror filled my head.

Firetrucks and EMS raced to the scene,

All i could feel was dread.

 

Fire engulfed the house,

With one still inside.

My Uncle Jimmy,

Passed away the Halloween night.

 

The roof fell through,

And thats when i knew.

Without a doubt,

He wouldn't be coming out.

 

He has left this earth,

Never to be seen again.

He's gone,

But shall not be forgotten.

 

I think about him all the time,

He's always in my head.

I know that as long as he's on my mind,

He's never truely dead.
