Drowning

I'm clawing at my f*****g head because I can't get these emotions out that are eating me alive.
I'm drowning in my mind and I'm drowning in you, but that's nothing new. I've been drowning in you for the past two years. Now you decide to drown in me too, but I call bullshit because I know you. You don't drown, you pretend until the water fills my lungs and I'm no longer fighting for air. Once I've sunk that low, that's when you swim to shore and find another girl to drown.
I used to say "drowning is fun when it's in someone" but I couldn't have been more wrong.
