Severance of a cancerous soul

A time of letting go

Of a life that once clung so close

Strangling my neck

Breaking my bones

Heart shattering like glass

Suffocating at your touch

Deep rooted within my veins

A struggle to separate from the poison

The force of your strike 

Burning down my spine

Lost forever

Unable to feel the truth that is spoken to me

Held captive by your aggressive tone

Standing at my door

Begging you to stop

As you push yourself in

Screaming for a way out

Past the point of no return

Feeling so alone 

In your arms 

Where I once felt the safest

Pressure against my lungs

Feeling the rhythm of your heart

As you're pinned on top of me

Exhausting me of my life

Restricting me of my freedom

Taking away my dignity 

Clawing at my pride

No where left for me to hide away
