Footprints

You left footprints in my soul

so Id know where to go

when I need to follow you

inside my deeper shoes

I wear them now and then

when I am my own best friend

i can fill them as i grow

into a richer soul

we all have deeper shoes, but many just keep them in a closet.

and we never get to grow into that richer soul...unfortunate...but some of the people in our lives, my life i am reminded of by this poem...some very special people now gone.
