Computer crash

thoughts while my computer hiccuped

Computer crash

forced me to hash

and brown thoughts in my mind

I scrambled things

and brought forth strings

attached to my inside

Like where does all that space go

that exists in my third eye

does it take me to a far off place

time travel when I die

Or maybe when Im dreaming

coasting above the ground

does the space between my pupils

make sure Im not lost but I am found

So I toasted my ponderings

while the computer fixed by wondering

a mind floating constantly

trying to find the space between my eyes

This is one problem with technology Jesse, it can leave you without any warning....That is why i try to keep at least my writings on my diary....I know how terrible it can be to loose important documents and datas....Im speechless, you always come up with our daily life's elements in your poetry....Greatly written.....Full rating.....Clap! I agree with inject positivity... You have a way of incorporation every day life into your poetry/writing. i think that this is an important skill for all writer. thinking about how it feels.

I feel like there is some kind of analogy to breakfast here hahaha "Scramble, hash, toasted" I don't know if you meant to do that, it being about technology but it really brings life to your poem. I like it! Good job.

Ah yes, those mutterings of all things computer, while hoping and praying that the screen will eventually flicker to life and allow you back on. I hope you didn't have one of those pesky timer things telling you four minutes to completion, three minutes to completion, eighteen weeks to completion, then get to 99% and start phase two of reboot. I think every computer should come with it's own guy that made it to fix it when it goes wrong. I have just realised that I am now just ranting about my bad luck with laptops and still haven't mentioned your words. That's out of order, shouldn't be allowed. not cool.

oh goodness, well im sure you couldn't have done such a thing on purpose...and we all deserve second chances. i do hope though if i have done that in any way, that i would hate to have caused offense, and deeply apologize because i do try to be heartfelt about what people write and include personal experience too. i wouldn't want to hurt anyone. thank you acoustic for your review, and i appreciate it as always.

I do wish this will not happen to me because I keep a lot of important things in my laptop. This is like a warning for me. Thanks for sharing this. At first, I had to read this again to really imagine the situation until I realized it. When this happened, you were from the world of your data and your mind drifted into thoughts you've never knew existed. It's like you are given a free moment of freedom to feel and think of other things. Thanks for sharing this! :)

Hi jesserose I don't know what it is but everytime I read your writes I get the stimulus or an idea to write my own from the base of your poem you displayed and I feel it would be plagiarism if i did, almost like I feed off your ideas you produce! Ah the horror of technology lol I learned to always have a paper copy or journal of my thoughts. I am terrible with computers anyway. Awesome write jesse :)
