Hello me

it's me again

I get the feeling

I can't come in

it's been months now

on the outside

and I don't have a soul

to confide

Confusing as such

try my world much

the TV talks

yes to me

there are things Im sure

others just don't see

and suicide cheers

outside jeers

it would be sadder had I succeeded

lord if they knew the world that proceeded

Hello me,

its me again

I'd like help getting back outside

see I'm locked in

a place others fail to see

when they smile and look at me

Wait no, covering is getting harder

reality is getting farther

mixed in the madness is truth I know

but how do you tell them what is and ain't so

I think the truth finds me

my job isn't to make others see

Why is beauty hidden in lies

Why does my mind stay jailed while my soul flies

Ah, very freed-y type write that has its own wings to reach beyond horizons. Happiness's everything around the world to be lived with peace, but hardly the one finds it in universe cos, everybody's already lost in their own mazes of mind, for no reason so it's good living what's meant to be lived before it's too late to: LIFE. Very deep and evocative poetry. Great job!

The fact that you possess such introspection just confirms your sanity. The insane live in an irrational world. They don't question it.

I like the way your poetry invites us to question how we think about ourselves. Human beings are such complex constructions. We never truly get to know ourselves; we just interpret our current situation. There is always change -- the only constant in the universe. As the old line goes: “The Tao that is known is not the true Tao.”

You made me think again. I asked you to stop that.

Wonderfully written. Raw in a sense, almost as if you put up a mirror to yourself, turned your head and told us all to look. I enjoyed it and read it back through a few more times. Nicely done

Thank you Jacob, I had me a read on Anne Sexton..and that is a huge compliment I think. It really felt confessional. I wish they had a priest on WC because I would have more...lol

A deep write jesserose, sometimes I think its better to stay within the box, don't go out there for there's too much going on out there which would only upset me on knowing! lol I'm on a roll of there's!!
