Who Knows

Who Knows

A Poem by jesserose99
"

where does the ink go

"

Who knows

from where the ink flows

from brain to fingertips

mouthing words with your lips

Lifting head up to sky

while you think and wonder why

you can't think of the next line

turn to the left and it comes to you fine

Who knows

where the ink goes

when you write your final letter

the ink goes to make another poet better

Who knows

There isn't much I can add that hasn't been said already but this was a really good read. I like that it is very literally but with a tint of philosophy. And cant beat a poem that rhymes :)

Indeed... Some questions do not require a solution. The asking is enough.

sounds interesting actually Nani...:)
Oh! I should confess
The ink that flowed
Did make me better
For none can know all
Who bleeds like human.
Great tidings to you
For such a great piece.

oh, krizito, so good to see, that the poem flowed between you and me
Who knows what the hell will finally be on the paper when complete as we bleed on the page. Much of my work comes from a place like this. Nice.

really glad you could relate. Thanks!
poetry lays upon the ages, alive in the hearts that touch it, and the echo of echos in time...a grain of sand displaced, is a grain of sand in its right place

what an interesting concept...passing the ink on to another poet, when we write our final poem...we pass in more ways than one.

Thank you, I will return the looksee here soon!
Obviously you do...it shows in this wonderful piece right here. It just seems to flow, doesn't it. The way I see it, all poetry is already in you, you just need to find it and let it out. Who let the poems out? Could be a song. : )
