Dragon

a dream I had

I dreamt of a dragon last night

burning flames gave me no fright

wanted to know why I was in his lair

and I found myself standing there

as he flew by I hitched a ride

I swung my leg over his side

we went on in flight through the den

I could feel the dragon send

a message straight to my third eye

hold on tight and you won't die

as we flew through the tunnels

I could sence oncoming trouble

he had control of me

no I was driving him you see

there was a power struggle

he was me

I  was him

he was my double

I had to tame the beast within

and become his willing friend

and he would be my dragon within

I tried to tame the beast within once, but it just breathed fire and gave me indigestion. :)
A beautifully told tale. Be in charge of your own destiny. Dont fight the dragon, just roll with it and you will be steering, instead of the terrified passenger in the back seat, screaming to stop the ride because you want to get off.
I dont think my dragon likes me though, im only allowed to travel in the trunk with a bag over my head :)
