Rooted

"

the wisdom of trees

"
We could learn a lot from trees rooted to the ground, drinking from mother natures cup, but not taking more then it needs. Stretching out it's branches... it breathes. Turning toxic into sweet. We could learn a lot from leaves falling to the ground, detaching from the branch when the cycle is complete. Not holding on for dear life the way we sometimes do, but making way for new life...when the time has come.

Beatifully put. I often picture mother nature shaking her head and sighing at us, but for all our intellect, she will be here long after we are forgotten. And as usual, leave her to clean our mess.
Wonderful, thought provoking write.

A perception to think over...

As a side note - then and than, generally speaking then deals with some sort of timing, i.e. now and then, this then that. Than deals with some sort of comparison, i.e. this rather than that. what is taller than me?

You are obviously a nature lover. Yes, we can learn a lot for all of Mother Nature's living things. Lovely thoughts here. Lydi**
