And I'll Go Around Again

And I'll Go Around Again

A Poem by jessfoundwonder

Even from seasons away, I can see through you
Go to edge of the world, that's where you'll find me
Next time is much to late to fix your mistakes
Don't ever say sorry, I've heard it before

Go back to your lost girls, who let you inside them
I'm locking the doors against people like you
They're not much to offer, but they sure seem to sparkle
And I'm blinded by lies much too thick to see through

My heart's never been so bruised or so dented
I believed quite a lot in your shallow claims
Of forever and in love and there are no others like you
Believe me, I'm tired of what people do

Because talk is so cheap, and your acting is faulty
You're the worst liar of sorts
And you're worth so much less than I thought
I believed you fantastic, but so much was bought

By sickening stories of how hard you've got it
I pitied your life, and I loved you for it
I never once lied, you couldn't give that to me
Once again I get hurt by believing imaginaries
