I'm Unhappy For You

I'm Unhappy For You

A Poem by jessfoundwonder

Where's the balance if you're always in your room?

Swallow all the ways you've learned to love to be,

And maybe make a difference

We are still kids and we'll always be yours

And you are still our dad

I don't know which is worse

The faces you're too tired to fake

Or the places in my mind that save me from your hate

Your hate for yourself and your hate for this world

However, remember, that I'm still your girl

And I wish I could love you

But it's just much too hard

People can see me, but they can't see my scars

But I'm embaressed by you, dad

And not in the everyday way

I want you to love me,

Not waste your life away

So either become some kind of useful,

Happy person inside

Or you can stay here and just tell me goodbye

I'm not sorry this time.
