Another Girl

Another Girl

A Poem by jessfoundwonder

This girl, she's something different

Butterflies and angry women

Coundn't stand to shake a hand at her bright smile

And she found a boy who's a mathmatician

Pigeons steps and old men's wisdom

Aren't far enough to get common sense in through his eyes

And all she wants is him to love her

He swears he does, he can't live without her

Now let's all go out for coffe cake and lemonade

But he's not much of a romantic

Sure he reads, and he's scientific

He's good at everything but saying how he feels

And he gets nervous by her side

And she thinks he just doesn't like her

And then he decides to give her time and space

But that's exactly what her over

Analytical mind takes for perfect closure

And she won't bother to ask him what he means

And even if she did, well he'd only say the wrong thing

Because he can't seem to translate feelings into words

And there goes yet another girl
