I don't know what you're thinking

I don't know what you're thinking

A Poem by jessfoundwonder

You always did end up leaving me breathless

I never though you'd take my lungs with you when you left

Is it my job to die while you find you're glory?

I can't help but come searching for you

It's a shadow, a night light, you're my salvation

You're my biggest weakness, and you eat my concerns

I hate that I love you, but I love how you make me feel

When you go again will I finally learn?

I'm walking on broken glass, everything is balanced

Because whoever gives the most surely will leave with less

I hate that I love this repeating fad with you

And I love to pretend to hate everything we do

I'm such a role model being when you don't matter

You're my biggest weakness and I'm truly scared

What if all of this is some well acted charade

What if you really do love me, what if you really care?

Could I be that secret that you're too proud to tell?

What if you feel exactly like I do?

I'd love to slip and fall with you, as long as you'll catch me

But I'd never go there in a conversation with you
