I Really Like You Again, Now

I Really Like You Again, Now

A Poem by jessfoundwonder

You're worth an hour or two on the sundown

I hardly used to see your face in all the empty places

What do I say to a stranger who once loved me?

Remember how we held hands in the glow of your t.v.

Your girlfriend, she's not your girlfriend anymore

And I need to think this through

You're one and I'm one too,

Could we be one, together?

And I think I really like you again, now

We're less of people we knew when we started

Could that be good, to know me over again?

Believe me, I'll be different

I'll be whatever you're looking for

I need to speak up tomorrow, today

Or you'll be taken away by some other beautiful girl

And I'll have to wait again
