Hello, I'm Still HereA Poem by jessfoundwonderStupid friend, how can't you tell? I'm a litle skeptical of you and your conclusions If you are a fish, then could I be your water? If you are a kite, then I'll be your sky.
But from all the pieces you find You throw them behind you Is it something you don't want to find? Do I have a chance, or am I not right for you?
I think it's quite a joke to leave me afloat While you dive, dive, dive You're skilled in the art of breathing Are you gonna be awhile?
But truthfully and honestly I'll tell you now That you could leave for years and decades And I would probably wait I hate to be so this way, but my feelings will always stay
And I don't remember the last glance you gave Or the way you used to say my name But I know it was the best I've ever had
And you got away by some mistake And you found a girl who's really great But I'm here and I'm screaming I'm here and I'm calling You're there and you're losing your sense of feeling And I just want you to know all the words That I couldn't possibly get right in real life © 2009 jessfoundwonderReviews
