Burnt.

Burnt.

A Poem by jessfoundwonder

Checking up on mixed positions

Your sublte, dense, kill the ambition

I'm as far away from you as I will stand for.

For you, I abhor your sense of disregard.

Take the candles down, your not fooling any part of me.

Let it be.

Be a victim of tyranny.

Your heart is at the ready.

To rise and fall, keep the candles lit.

You never know who may get close to it.

Fire's beautiful if you play it right

Risk a burn. Take a chance on you.

Your like a fire.

So captivative and terrifying.

Flicker reflect in my blue eyes shine.

You shine.

There's no way to put you out.

I've tried. I'll admit I've tried.

Right after you tortured me with you casual goodbye.

You burned right through my skin

And I caved in.

Into myself I was a victim of my own mind.

It's a drug of it's own kind.

Take it away. Take it away.

You're an excellent writer. Michelle has got it write by saying "f*****g brilliant work". It really is great. The only thing I can suggest is to watch out for the difference between "you're" and "your".
