The Artist

The Artist

A Poem by jessfoundwonder

Your words glide like acrobats

They scream across the rolling stars

Colors flying like emotions

Spinning high above the world

Kiss the sun with your open lies

Changing seasons, blinking eyes

You can't learn what you've never known

Sidewalk letters fade with memories

You've marked your fate with the ink of your past

Many won't be the same behind you

Ask the ones you love

You won't change, and that's the worst part

I like it so far...words gliding like acrobats, is a great opening line.
