AWAY YOU FLEW

AWAY YOU FLEW

A Poem by jessand jason
"

this is one of my very first poems that i wrote when i was 13. for a boy that i was close to and he was only 18 months old and was killed by his uncle.

"

Away you must fly to your home up high

A place of no sorrow, and always a tomarrow.

Should i cry now or should i cry later.

Sometime soon it will all get better.

I'm gonna hold my head up high

And be the shoulder for mom to cry.

Save my tears is what i'll do

til the next time I see you.

In the place you have gone

all is done.

Safe in gods arms

there is never any harm.
