nights silence

nights silence

A Poem by jessand jason
"

even though things may seem dark through out your life there is a point where the sun will rise up and you will see the sunlight once again

"

I lay on the earth starring onto the midnight sky.

As a small tear falls from my eye.

A gentle hand caresses my face.

Nobody there, not one little trace.

I hear God's creatures moving around in the night.

With the moon half full, and the stars shining bright.

Layin here in the silence, yet so many words heard.

Thoughts running through my mind of the many lessons learned.

My heart breaking trembles me like a california earthquake.

Making it hard to breathe with every breath I take.

It feels as if your lying here next to me.

Don't hurt me anymore,go on and let it be.

I lie there embracing my hopes and dreams.

The thoughts of what this life means.

I lay on the earth starring into the midnoght sky.

Searching the darkness for the reasons why.

Escaping this world for a little while longer.

Lying on this surface looking for the will to grow stronger.

I close my eyes to retrace the memories.

As the owls screach echos through the trees.

The night is coming to its end.

Holding our memories close my friend.

The sun is rising over these tall tree tops.

It warms my face, still the heartache never stops.

Those long nights where memories twist-up our minds. I like the description and story in the poem.
"My heart breaking trembles me like a california earthquake."
A positive ending. A new day does give us more hope and opportunities. A excellent poem.

Sometimes life hushes us from yelling aloud somehow and nothing left to set ourselves free but words. Words are kept putting down in the papers, describing our mournful even joyful memories which we could never talk about. You poem was talking about something real that all of us pass through and this is its secret. The secret that makes it sweet to read, to imagine and to live. I love it :)
