struggles with everyday life that i went thru. wrote 2-9-2009

My body is weak, my mind is worn.

I feel like my soul is torn.

 

I wish I could get goin on the right way.

I struggle to get out of bed everyday.

 

I just don't know what else to do.

It seems to me like no one has a clue.

 

This is a problem for me everyday.

All I hear are the negatives things people say.

 

I dont show you enough attention so you say

I wish i could show you in a better way.

 

I know livin with me isn't all that easy.

When we talk about splitting up, it makes me queasy.

 

Wish you could understand me a little better.

Maybe soon with the change of the weather.

 

I know its frustrating, its plain to see.

Please honey,please stick by me.

 

Yes we're gonna fight thats a given.

Thats just part of the married life we're livin.

 

We've got a very long road to go.

The process is so long and so slow.

 

So just stand by me I ask you please.

Throught the change in the weather and the turn of the leaves.

It is hard to hold a life together. So many unknown pitfalls to trip us up. I understand the feel of the poem. Easy to feel weak and tire. Takes two strong people to create joy and happiness in a life. The poem was very good. I like the description and story in your words. A excellent poem.
