modern communication

A Poem by i-human

grabblings without:

I sit in the same subway with at least 20 other beings, but  no one.

A bus full of humans that don't acknowledge eachothers existence.

The strongest walls

And that there walking on the sidewalk past you is a mere piece of scenery in the park.

You wouldn't talk to a tree so to  speak:

"live, love, laugh"

"it looks so good"

"my leaves are dying"

scarce examples

stupidity for eternity

we all have faces as far as im concerned

the thought of expressing myself although, even in the smallest of forms, via facebook, is uncomfortable

bringing up a philosophy that everything is self expressive diminishes the objective

selfishly selfless

what's really fun is what is invisible

i was talking to someone on facebook chat and words they'd chosen appeared on the page

but they were nowhere to be found

creating things to be seen elsewhere as you sit still and wait for responses

We are a lonely crowd. I was recently at a concert and I was having a great time chatting with friends and random people alike. I tried to break the ice with the girl next to me who kept giving me cold looks. When I asked how she was doing she just looked at me like I asked her the square root of something. She was utterly shocked that I was speaking to her. She must have thought I had an agenda behind my question.

What's the square root of this? Can questions like that exist?
