Fire starter

Fire starter

A Poem by jess foreman
"

an old town being lit

"

fire fire fire
getting bigger getting dire
fire fire fire
getting higher and higher
fire fire fire
shouts the village crier

out out out
we yell its started by the cartel
out out out
all the houses all about
out out out
were out of sorts here comes the transport

fire fire fire
there goes the steeple and there goes the spire
fire fire fire
all around songs from the choir
fire fire fire
wont stop, get down everybody drop

damage cant be undone, what have you done son

you brought down the church, you brought down the hall

you definitely have the gall. you smoked the houses and peoples spouses

you dint think and without a blink, sent many to go get a drink

bar is full people sipping and gripping their booze
hoping that the drink will help them to defuse.

rumors about the town are going around blaming poor old mr Mcgown

i wont say i know it was you, you never even left a clue

why start the fire son was it a game and you won
who told you, and put you on was it Huan
you need new friends young man not ones who pretends

extinguished are the flames waste still remains
the town shall build again will be clean from this grilled state
please take time to reflect on your actions please eject yourself from the friends you keep
show respect and connect with a good local

sweep sweep sweep
we clean the debris soon will be time for tea
sweep sweep sweep
getting back our great city
sweep sweep sweep
come on and help do not slack jack
sweep sweep
we are back
