WHO

WHO

A Poem by jess foreman

Blue box, Blue box

what's this I have come across?

Its small but kind of tall,

It makes a noise of a siren call

lights glow and who's in there I dunno,

I knock on this so called "Police box"

as I knock the wood is as strong as an Ox

A man, a very funny man opens the door

he's tall and slim but not wearing Christian Dior,

I see inside this box to my surprise its bigger inside

how peculiar the inside doesn't match the out

he looks as though he has been racing against the tide

clothes all a mess hair all over the place.

Blue box, Blue box,

also a telephone box

confusion racing through the depth of me

I open to speak and he shouts "Allons-y"

he tells me he's a doctor you see

maybe a crazy man but he seems to be for me.

I step inside uncomfortably

I'm amazed he has no company

its a time machine he says to me

in shock and awe I say show me

we set off full steam ahead, noise screeching in my head

where were going? I seem to dread.

we arrive in time ahead.

I step out to see... wow what I see

hover ships and crazy aliens some who are green

some who look just like me.

our adventure begins I'm assuming I am his new consort

well its too late to abort

I'm on my way with the Doctor

its to the stars and beyond for me

some people say give up now

well just try and stop me ;)

SO THE ADVENTURE BEGINS.
