honeymoon

honeymoon

A Poem by jess foreman
"

a couple on there honeymoon.

"

On a hot summer's day where the lovers lay

their eyes meet, her face like porcelain clay

his wonderful warm embrace, makes their hearts race

he touches her back at the base, she caresses his face

They had said "I do"  the day before

they had the priviledge of the dance floor

they held each other tight, all through that night

he carried her through the door up to the first floor.

how nice the hotel room

the bride now had a groom

she exits the bathroom

adorned in a silk robe

they make this night  a special night

for it was their first delight.

i did enjoy this picture of a loving honeymoon...i had three of them, none worked out very well, neither did the marriages...

careful of spelling..."summer's day"

"their hearts"

"their honeymoon"

but a nice video in words to describe what should be a wonderful opening to a novel life of joy ....
