is God real?

Is god real? Growing up in a Christian family my answer should be yes to that question right off the bat. But when I really think about it, there is no true proof of him existing. Even if he did exist, then why would he make people suffer and some people have no worries at all. Also, if one were to think of all the crazy stories that are in the bible or any other way that people read or listen to the teachings of God, they don't seem realistic. Now, one could say that is because it is God and God can do whatever he wants. If somebody today were to say they heard a voice in their head telling them to start a new religion, nobody would follow them. They would just be sent off to some mental asylum and labeled as schizophrenic. Back in jesus' time they didn't have schizophrenia so people really believed that he was chosen by some all mighty God to free the jews. I'm not saying that Jesus isn't real and that he didn't live, but I don't think that he was the Messiah or that there will ever be a Messiah because there might not even be a God. Although, yes Jesus in his mind believed that God told him to start Christianity, or so he says, there is no real proof because we cant go into a dead man's brain. Especially when we don't even have the body. So I guess it's up to you to decide if theres a God. I'm somewhat undecided. In some aspects I believe that He is there and the story is accurate, but in others cases such as the resurrection from the dead I'm a bit skeptical.

It's all Faith. Of course writers exaggerate stories. So could some of the bible stories that seem un-real be unreal...yes. But does it seem un real that one Spartan could kill 100 men by themselves. Yes, but I still believe it. It's all Faith...
