Life On A Knife

Life On A Knife

A Poem by Written Wolf
"

This is a little something from my life before I found my best friend and boyfriend.

"

A Knife,

So subtle and so small.

Easily hidden until it takes,

A Life.

A Reflection,

On the shining blade.

Showing a past without,

Redemption.

Hollow,

Is my life.

I hear a voice I,

Follow.

A Name,

My name Upon your lips.

I never felt the,

Same.

A Life,

With you is found.

No more past full of,

Strife.

Give's the image of a crystal light bulb....empty and translucent until the power has been turned on.
I like how that analogy to the knife brings the feelings of emptiness and pain, until light bloomed in the picture in the end.

It's always good to see that the pain is in the past. Happy endings area always delightful.
