For LoveA Poem by Written WolfHere before you I stand; Opening up, putting my heart within your hand. I look to you for joy and guidance; You give it to me full, without a sideways glance. I see within you who I want to be; And you, in turn, see me, truly me. I cannot tell how much I love you; For no words will ever ring true. I long to tell you all that I feel; I want to live forever in those eyes of steel. Just one touch and I melt within your arms; Completely subdued by your loving and gentle charms. No matter how far I fall; I know your there to help me through it all. From the night and through the day; 'Come what will,' I say. For you are my life and love; Our time together as pure as the whitest dove. I feel you in the dark, caressing my fears away; Gently turning my night into day. Through all my trials and toils; I found a love that never spoils. You are my one and true; I'll always want to do right by you. Though these words are simple; They are just a ripple; Upon a ponds glassy top; Of a love that will never stop.
