Sometimes and Other Times

Things I feel sometimes and then how I feel differently other times.

Sometimes it feels like it's been forever since you went away,

And other times it seems like it was only yesterday.

Sometimes i almost can't remember your touch and your face-

And other times your memory is tattooed into my brain.

Sometimes it feels like it was all just my imagination,

And other times I can still feel the connection.

Sometimes I still want to cry,

And other times I know I have to live my life.

Sometimes I completely HATE you, it's true.

And other times-I will Always LOVE you.

J...I had to smile when I read this...wanted to give you a warm 'welcome to the gene pool' in response because we all can feel like this sometimes and it's hard to abide.

BTW, as a poem, were you trying for a rhyme? The repetition in the piece might be OK but the meter may need a little work. Thanx...keep at it...bobc
