Written about and for my love..Lance You are amazing!!!

Somehow I didn't know, my eyes didn't see him-
I had not thought at first, there was anything there**

There's no words to explain, I didn't know it was going to begin- for inside my heart that special place, was closed and in repair**

One day without any clue, my eyes opened up and my heart took a turn-
It happend in a blink of an eye, now each day about him, is what I want to learn**

Throughout my life I've only been dealt pain, never truly loved always being taken granted for-
I've kept locked inside, the glimpse of hope-
That one day I will be shown, that very last door**

The door is the sign that my search is at an end, that the "one" meant for me is on the other side-
All I need to do now, is be brave and open it up..for that deep happiness I deserve, I should no longer hide**

He stood right before me so delightfully sweet, yet I held my guard up high-
It didn't take long for his heart to show me, that his intentions were innocently shy**

So much I fought inside of me, telling myself "don't allow him inside"-
But you see I'm longer feeling that way, for he is one of a kind**

It's happening and I'm scared too, but I don't want to lose this man-
So I will step back and let it flow, for I know that this is gods plan**

I know for sure that slow is best, to rush this could be wrong-
However I know one true thing, my feelings for him are strong**

So here I am ready to claim, my heart will never let go-
For you see I know that I have found, my dream..

I like it Debra but it is a little too wordy in places and lacks flow. It needs to be crisper.
