Winter!!!

another one of my poems i wrote at 17 years old ...... back in 2009

Winter,

I walk outside, and I see snow.

Must be winter,

I go back inside and say,

Yes it's winter time again,

I go outside and run and jump into the snow,

I make a snow angel and look up at the sky,

I get up,

I start to roll a ball,

And I start making a snowman,

Oh what a joy,

Must be winter time again.

Generally winter is associated with a depressing/ sadening type mood. I like changed joyful outlook on it. Though it doesn't really flow, you repeat the same words taking the power away. For example you say " I walk outside" then "I go back inside" then " I go outside". When writing think about your word usage. Overall a simple poem with a relaxing stance on winter.

very nice, actually, at first i was unsure of what you were trying to say, but i had not even read it yet my eyes jumped right to the "the end" so... i was confused. good thing i did finish it i liked it a lot! very unique and original. Fun read!
