denial

A Poem by jennifer little

slender beams of moonlight has entered,
the darkened chamber,
as i began to kneel,
always cold,
always alone,
frozen here,
waiting,
twisted forms,
wrought in the panes of glass loom,
as the dust dances,
forming an image in my mind,
spearing my sacred soul,
how the reflection on humanity's face has come upon,
as i raise my head now,
embracing this impassive reality

Moody little write. Makes me think of a street person taking shelter in an abandoned cathedral. Lost, alone, only shadows and thoughts for company. Someone at the end of his/her rope. Beautiful in a dark sort of way. Well done.
