phantom pain

phantom pain

A Poem by jennifer little

around,
all around,
as the dark memories,
have gathered within,
my dread grows as the angry hand of heaven falls against my naked soul,
as it's wounds taunt me,
as my darkly essence drips to the wicked earth that this is our prison within,
in the horror i cry out,
while deaths shadows,
surround me,
now alone,
my cries of mercy falls,
upon your darkened eyes,
this is our hell

Depression's hell... Sometimes it can fell bottomless. Everyday, every hour, every minute is an eternal torture.
Yes... You write this well my friend. Sad, hopeless. I hope you turned the corner relatively unscathed.
