hatred swells

hatred swells

A Poem by jennifer little

as the night falls within a silent sigh,
so cold and alone we are,
the light within that you sacrifice yourself within,
once it shall flare,
as the darkness settles in, '
dieing souls,
devoured by our obsession,
all your hope shall not endure,
your soul thrives no more,
how shall you hate me?
for the lost souls are surrounding me,
crying in pain and torment,
we have lost our light within us all,
as the hatred swells within your body
