Oh Goody,

Oh joy,

I found out i was pregnant,

And now this is my shopping list,

All i want is,

Goodies,

Sweets ,

Cracker Jacks,

Apple pie,

Chocolate pudding,

Snickers ice cream ,

Caramel apples,

Strawberries pie,

Sugary drinks,

Now that's my shopping list

just found out i was expecting,

and now i am having lots of cravings,

all i want is,

sweets,

cracker jacks,

apple pie,

chocolate pudding,

snickers,

icecream,

caramel apples,

sugary drinks,

and of course salad,

healthy food as well,

Haha you shopping list sounds like my average day cravings! Eat them up cause they're delish...though I don't think chocolate is that good. I'll let it slide since it was a craving *I'm joking* hahaha!!!

I get the thrust of this but, never having been pregnant myself you will understand, my experience of being with those 'with child' is that their cravings are much more exotic or bizzare. My mother wanted to suck coal (explains a lot), others have wanted abnormal items like metal (coins, etc) clay, coal, soil, chalk, paper, soap, or ash, or an abnormal appetite for some things like raw food ingredients (e.g., flour, raw potato, raw rice, starch, ice cubes, salt). If this last more than a month it is called a pica. Although some women do crave sweet or starchy foodstuffs (hence weight gain!) your list reads like my Friday night shop pour moi!

The best thing about good writing is that it's based on self-honesty. That's what other people relate to, becuz we are all experiencing similar s**t in life. This poem shows a refreshing perspective of self-honesty. Sometimes it's tiring to read stuff that's all serious or sentimental (for me, anyway). honestly when i was pregnat i only craved few things and non was that on that list i just figured thats how some people think while pregnat

Hmmm, my shopping list used to look like that. It all came to a screeching halt after my double by pass surgery. Now my shopping list looks like...broccoli.
