Those three painful words can really change your life.

I opened my eyes. I stared blankly at the ceiling, hearing his warm, calm voice echoing into my ears. I started to breathe heavily, struggling to catch each breath. My heart rate increased and it felt like it was going to burst out of my chest. I quickly sat up and walked over to the mirror. There I stared at this girl who had eyes filled with fear, as   flashbacks followed another. My time with him was incredibly amazing, but he left a scar on my heart. Yet, my love for him will never end.
