Just Leave

Just Leave

A Poem by jusjen

Realization, we are self centered

So does the strength lie within

Unseen and rough terrain, I have entered

Smile with no scars on your skin

Your judgement is casting people to hell

Failure can kill the spirit

From your utmost pedestal, I soon fell

I taste your blood, you bigot

You’re the greedy one eating my poison

Never wanted you to care

Drink more of the shallow and the broken

Escape lures, I leave no prayer

H'lo, welcome to WC.

Time right now is 4 A.M.-ish - for me. A normal time for being both awake and aware - for me. I read this one to acquire a "first taste" of your thoughts and style. I reread your work aloud - three times to help me determine your intended pacing, different voice tones, and thought flow.

I felt the anger - actually a rage that this contained. I don't have the situational awareness and clarity of the history to gain a perspective or sense of fairness to develop a personal opinion. I can imagine but not know.

This has the taste and "feel" of an attack - quite personal and directed. Justified? - it is in your mind. It is now 515 A.M. This wasn't a 45 second or less glance and unthoughtful expression of a cursory pause.

I will open a second one to grow the taste.

I write from my heart. I follow my instinct. I live impulsively. I never feel like my feet are firmly grounded as I am a free spirit. I am a very intuitive person, sometimes to the point, it hurts me... more..
