![]() ShoesA Poem by jennpenn![]() A poem about what you are dealt in life, and dealing with it.![]() The problem with my problem is That I don’t know what it is The problem that’s my problem It’s inconsolably plain The questions to my answers Are slightly the wrong size Is there even a reason why I'm stumbling through life The differences in shoe sizes Has left a gaping hole When I walk off kilter I stumble and repeat And stare at all the others Who have the perfect feet. I could tie one shoe real tight And hope that they don’t see. Teach myself to cope And fall down clumsily Or should I buy a size too small? And try to hide my pain Does the pinching of my skin Have anything to gain I found another with my problem! And it hadn't occurred to me To get two different sizes And just walk comfortably. © 2013 jennpennAuthor's Note
