Enter Me (Once and for All)

Enter Me (Once and for All)

A Poem by Jennifer M. Pennington

Out of body
Out of mind
There is only pleasure
There is only fire
Only me
And my desire
All I want
Is within me
I wrap my legs around it
And take it deep

Every dream
Every want
Every need
Every thought

I caress it
I kiss it
I love it
I hold it

Closer to me than ever before

I feel it deeply in my core

Every time I sacrificed so someone else could eat
Every time I let go so someone else could hold on
Every time I gave up and gave in
Every time....I lost track of time....wasting it
On people who couldn't even savor a single second

I take it all deeply into me

Like a lover
A long lost lover
A twin flame
A soul mate

I will love it like I never loved anyone else

Because it waited this long for me to embrace it

I really love the build up of your poem with a climactic ending...the feeling of yearning is a wonderful thing...nicely done.
