Reincarnation

Reincarnation

A Poem by Jennifer M. Pennington

My toes touch the earth
again, I am reborn
the wind plays with my hair
spirals of wonder shower my mind
glittering my heart with blessings
My arms raise to the sky
again, I feel aroused to dance
spinning round and round
again, laughter leaves my lips

Again and again and again.

My hands touch heaven.
My toes touch the roots of the earth.

Between the worlds of creation....
....and infinity

I walk, endlessly.

again and again and again.

Timeless.
Limitless.
I remember.
Again.

Only to touch the earth...
...and forget.....

Until I am ready to dance the spiral dance again.

Oh, if only we could remember our past lives and improve on our mistakes to get it right. This is nicely done.
