You, meA Poem by JenniferHow can I say to others so many things that I don't really do...You, me My feet are tired My head wants to explode I'm losing my energy I'm losing my voice. Not a soul notices Not a person talks No one even wonders What is going on my mind? Yet, too many questions Looking for the answers that I can't find Trying to avoid the questions Those referring to the past. You tried to fix all my errors But you were the first one doing it wrong You told me about my composure But you were the first one who lost control. I was built on my own experiences While you were trying to build me with yours I was trying to learn from my mistakes But you always blocked my way leaving me without choice. How do you expect me to be a better person To grow and be more like the person you are If I wanna grow up my way And imitate the person I really am. I may not find the answers I may have struggles in my life I may pretend to be strong But that's a mask, you know me very well deep inside.
